BBDC System is developed for BBDC Systems (Bukit Batok Driving Center Ltd.) Singapore. BBDC is one of the largest and advanced driving schools in South East Asia. The BBDC (Bukit Batok Driving Center) System is implemented to replace the existing modules in the current system with a web application and also to introduce new modules to this system. The New web based BBDC system features a single point of interaction to data managed by different data sources, put in place a robust infrastructure and enhance the software application to support an expanded business operation.

Responsibilities:

As member of 20 involved in analysis, design, development, unit testing and implementation of various modules.

Designed around 75 reports, which contains sub reports, formulae, and complex design patterns using Crystal Reports.

Designed graphical reports using Crystal Reports.

Integrated Crystal Reports with Visual Basic using Crystal Reports API

Designed schema for MS-SQL Server.

PICA (Production Information Computerized Analysis) Which is an alternative for Manual Production Management System Customized for National Panasonic Malaysia, Clipsal Malaysia (Clipsal Australia), SUMITOMO Malaysia (SUMITOMO-Japan), and PICA is designed for all type of industries for their Production Monitoring. PICA will capture production information like Actual Good Produced and at same time it also analyze the Production information. Of various Production Lines, It uses various sensors as per requirement to capture production information and those sensors will transmit signal to DMM (Data Management Module) where the signals are processed and send to PICA.

Responsibilities:

Involved in software requirement analysis and design.

Designed the schema MS-SQL Server 2000.

Developed UI with Visual Basic 6 and unit tested

General Insurance System (GIS) is a comprehensive system with the facility to provide Fire, Motor, Marine, and Casualty Insurance. The various modules in the system are Reference Module, Security Module, Underwriting Module, Claims Module, Reinsurance Module, Treaty Module and Investment Module. High functional requirements, complex calculations, high interdependence among modules and high data volumes made the system very complex. This application is supposed to support a database of 60GB, which consists of around 600 tables 550 forms, and 450 reports.

Responsibilities:

Designed schema for Oracle 8 database.

Reports were designed and developed using Crystal reports 8.0

Designed and developed required stored procedures and database triggers.

Involved in User Requirement analysis that includes analyzing user interface design and creation.

Developed User Interface Using Visual Basic.

Developed COM components for database connection.

Project Monitoring System It is an automated tool for tracking the progress of a project and submission of the daily project report. It has the ability to configure and keep track of various projects handled by the company for respective client and assigns the team members and their respective roles. The details about the starting date, deadlines and the man-hours to be spent for a particular project, module and task can be maintained. It sends alerts to the concerned person regarding the deadline at regular intervals. Using the total time spent for a particular project the time required for a similar project and the efficiency of an employee could be estimated.
