Job Description:



Prepare functional specifications from which applications will be written.



Design, code, test, debug, document, and deploy web-based applications.



Participate in technical design, development, testing, and maintenance of application enhancements.



Plan and conduct application system tests, monitor test results, and make appropriate modifications



Report detailed status of applications on a regular basis



Develop overall system application documentation



Responsible for continuing maintenance on assigned production applications



Responsible for overall production support on assigned systems



Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure successful deployment and support of applications

Experience:



Bachelor's Degree or 2 years' equivalent experience required



Four years experience in application development and/or analysis, including demonstrated experience working with structured methodologies and participating in the design and development of medium to large-scale applications in a distributed computing environment



Solid knowledge of Internet-enabled technologies (ASP, .Net - C# and VB), as well as a variety of client/server technologies



Understanding of technical issues related to building Internet, Intranet and Extranet systems



Experience with application infrastructure as it relates to performance, scaling, and overall system availability



Ability to consolidate business and technical requirements and model data



Ability to apply an innovative approach to solving design and technical issues



Experience in Microsoft SharePoint environment given special consideration

Technical Skills:



Microsoft Visual Studio.Net including C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net , and ADO.Net



Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.Net 1.1 and 2.0 (VB and C# preferred)



Object Oriented Development experience



Relational database experience including Oracle, SQL Server



Database scripting including PL/SQL or T/SQL



XML including schemas (XSD) or transformation (XSLT)



N-Tier architecture, web infrastructure and security



Enterprise application integration including third-party systems and middleware tools



Web Services Standards including SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and WS-I
