This is a new position to provide faculty and staff with research, development and project management for implementation of complex interactive multimedia projects (video, PC, web, audio, print and other media projects) from inception to completion. Completed projects will become components of a new interprofessional health sciences curriculum primarily utilizing a large video wall in the new Arizona Telemedicine Program Interprofessional Learning Center at the Institute for Advanced Telemedicine and Telehealth (T-Health Institute) on the University of Arizona College of Medicine /Phoenix campus.



The office for this position is located at the University of Arizona College of Medicine / Phoenix campus. However, the job duties for this position will require frequent travel to the University of Arizona College of Medicine campus in Tucson to meet with key faculty and staff.



Duties & Responsitilities:

*Consults and negotiates with the Director and Co-Directors, Arizona Telemedicine Program and other faculty and staff to determine objectives and production requirements for major video wall based productions and instructional activities.



*Develops video wall project budget by considering production, evaluation and distribution requirements; monitors budget through completion of project.



*Develops project deadlines by estimating time required for each component of project; monitors production schedule through completion of project.



*Schedules, assigns and monitors work of production team; determines standards of performance and ensures quality control standards are implemented.



*Produces video wall productions by determining logistics such as special effects, location, graphics and background essential for video production; produces audio projects and ensures components meet quality control standards.



*Writes scripts for media productions; matches style and complexity to objectives, content and design; conducts necessary research to obtain accurate and up to date information.



*Plans assessment and evaluation of production; creates evaluation instrument, schedules formal evaluations and documents findings.



Minimum Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Communications or related field AND three years of production and media design experience; OR, seven years of production and media design experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.



Preferred Qualifications:



*Previous experience producing major interactive video wall projects.

*Knowledge of interactive instructional web/computer program development.

*Knowledge and experience with video teleconferencing.

*Knowledge of the health care field.

*Experience working in a medical environment and interacting with medical personnel.

*A knowledge of HIPAA requirements to ensure the privacy of patients encountered during work hours.
