Role Summary



Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operation, and passes items as needed to the operating team.



Responsibilities



Endo Tech will assist the physician and the RN with endoscopic procedures in the Endoscope Suite.



1. Set up Endo Room by physician preference

2. Assists physician and RN with endoscopic procedures

3. Assists with specimens according to policy

4. Clean and perform routine maintenance of all endoscopic equipment

5. Notifies supervisor of any malfunction of equipment

6. Ensures a clean and tidy work area throughout scope process

7. Restocks endoscope room with designated supplies

8. Is responsible for complete and thorough performance of assigned tasks
