This position is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining distributed AIX operating systems on IBM Pseries and RS/6000 hardware platforms.



REQUIREMENTS

• Experience programming and scripting</u> in (<u>C/C++, Korn Shell, sed, awk, Perl, etc</u>
  
  
• Experience with Oracle databases.
  
  
• Experience configuring network security on Cisco equipment.
  
  
• Experience with Systems Administrator duties including implementation of new systems, training, documentation, integration, maintenance, storage capacity management, performance tuning, system dump analysis, server hardening (security) and systems design.
  
  
• Experience providing 24/7 application support required.

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and

2-4 years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of distributed system software, hardware and integration services
